Turkey is the world's 5th biggest grape producers. 2/3 of the produced grapes are seedy and 1/3 of them are seedless. There are improvements in grape cultivation considering production according to regions where Aegean region on seedless raisins, Marmara region on table and wine, Mediterranean region on first early. Central and Sourheastern Anatolia on wine, juice, table and seedy dried varieties. %30 of the produced grapes are considered for fresh market where 37% for dried, 30 % for molasses, pulp, juice and 3% for wine purposes. Today seedless table grape takes the first place in terms pf grape production for export of Turkey. Sultana grapes generates 95% of gra pe export of Turkey. Aegean regions (Manisa, Izmir, Aydin) represents Turkey at foreign trades of seedless grape.
