    Does'nt need special climate. Grows in each region from Edirne to Hakkari inTurkey. The first harvest of plums begins in Hatay and Mersin. Commercially plums mostly produced in these two cities. In the following period plums of Izmir, Ayd?n, Denizli, Bursa, Balikesir goes into the market. In the middle of summer plums of high altitude cities Afyon, Tokat, Amasya, Karaman goes into the market.
